Poet T.S. Eliot, Thomas Stearns Eliot (THE WASTE LAND; FOUR QUARTETS), was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1888.

Johnny Appleseed, was born John Chapman in Leominster, Massachusetts, in 1774.
